About Us
Water Resource Management Group (WRM) is a department with multidisciplinary talent to provide comprehensive methodology for water quality assessment, planning for water resource management and delivering sustainable solutions for treatment of water and wastewater. The research group covers broad spectrum research ranging from hydrogeological studies, geochemical characterization of water and wastewater, contaminant source apportionment, risk assessment and health hazards mapping to development of cost effective technology for wastewater treatment and its utilization for societal benefits. The group works with special focus on a scientific and technical understanding of natural resources and the life-supporting capacity of those resources. The group is accredited by NABET in the area of EIA-EMP study of mining and coal washery and serving mining industries for environmental clearance and compliance.
